4th December 2019, Abu Dhabi, UAE—LuLu Group, the highly diversified conglomerate well known for the largest hypermarket chain in the region, has been awarded with two retail spaces in the upcoming Midfield Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport. In a special function, Saifee Rupawala, CEO of LuLu Group, and Bryan Thompson, CEO of Abu Dhabi Aiports, signed the conclusion agreement in the presence of Sheikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Airports, Yusuff Ali M.A, Chairman and Managing Director of LuLu Group, and Tony Douglas, CEO of Etihad Airways.
LuLu Group is expected to fulfill a shopping venue of 20,000 square feet, featuring an ultra-modern and futuristic-themed store fitted out by international designers, which is dedicated for specialist gifting and non-food department store. An exclusive range of products will be available at affordable price points to provide a unique shopping experience to all kinds of travellers.
Sheikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan said: "The Midfield Terminal is one of the region's most significant aviation infrastructure projects, and it is only fitting that it will now be home to one of the region's most successful international conglomerates.
