LuLu opens 214th Hypermarket in Abu Dhabi’s Al Riyadh City Project

The growing Al Riyadh City South residential development coming up 30 kilometres from downtown Abu Dhabi will be the venue of the latest and 214th LuLu Hypermarket which was inaugurated today by Chief Guest Abdullah Al Sahi – Undersecretary of Department of Municipalities and Transport, Abu Dhabi, Guests of Honour, Mr. Bill O’Regan – CEO, MODON, the property developers of the project, and Mr. Ahmed Al Shaikh Al Zaabi – Associate Director, Delivery, MODON, in the presence of LuLu Group Chairman and Managing Director, Yusuff Ali M.A.

This is the second presence for LuLu in the development – the first ‘express store’ was launched two years ago in the area. The Hypermarket is the 87th LuLu in the UAE and 34th in Abu Dhabi. Set as a one-level store with a total area of 39,400 square feet, the hypermarket makes it easy for shoppers to access it—with dedicated parking spaces for 200 cars and its proximity to major roads that connect to the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, as well as urban and industrial areas.

It will serve the ambitious Al Riyadh City residential project which is one of the largest of its kind undertaken by the Abu Dhabi government. Once completed, Riyadh City South will include 29,000 plots.
