Fujairah Welfare Association (FWA) signed a partnership agreement with LuLu Mall, Fujairah, in the field of supporting the needy families and to execute charitable and humanitarian projects in the Emirate of Fujairah.
At a press conference held at the Association headquarters in Fujairah, H.E. Mohamed Ali Al Mulla, Vice Chairman of FWA, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mr. Salim M.A., Director of LuLu Group International, in the presence of Mr. Ali Bin Abbad Al Abdouli, General Manager of FWA, Mr. Ali Rashed Al Mallahi, Deputy General Manager of FWA, and Mr. Marcello Larizza, General Manager of LuLu Mall. Some of the executive officers of FWA and operation managers of LuLu Mall were also present.
Mr. Mohamed Ali Al Mulla, Vice Chairman of the Association, praised the cooperation and coordination with LuLu Mall Fujairah. He stated that they are happy to cooperate with LuLu Mall in the execution of the development and charitable projects and activities within the Emirate of Fujairah to be able to help needy families, sick people, looking after of orphans and students.
By virtue of this agreement, LuLu Mall Fujairah adheres to support the charitable and humanitarian projects, executed by Fujairah Welfare Association, by allotting suitable places to display the products of the local productive families such as perfume, incense, handcrafts, garments and foods within LuLu Mall Fujairah. As well as the two parties agreed to cooperate and participate in all social events and projects within the Emirate of Fujairah which shall be executed by each party and to organize the charitable events and activities during the year by them.
Mr. Mohammed Ali Al Mulla confirmed the importance of cooperation which will put the charitable activities in a new level of leadership. This will help in supporting the national economy by opening a new sales and marketing place for the production of the local productive families. Also he stated that they choose LuLu Mall because they want to work and cooperate with a big leader company which complies with its social responsibilities. This company shall have the ability to support the vision and the mission of Fujairah Welfare Association, which searches for leadership and excellence in the field of humanitarian works. He added, ”We look forward with optimism about our new partnership which represents undoubtedly an important addition to our efforts to build a strong humanitarian partnership with the business community and civil society organizations to be able to help the poor and needy people and supporting the vision of our wise leadership."
Mr. Salim M.A. stated “We have the honor to cooperate with a national leader organization like Fujairah Welfare Association which has great achievements in the field of humanitarian work. From our side, we seek to use all our available abilities to support the charitable projects and activities with the association. We will comply with our national, social and humanitarian responsibility as well as we will do our role to ensure the success of the charitable, humanitarian and voluntary projects which provides great benefits to the UAE society.
After signing the agreement, Mr. Mohamed Ali Al Mulla and Mr. Salim M.A. exchanged gifts and souvenirs.
