LULU HOLDS WALK FOR TOLERANCE EVENT AT KUWAITAT, AL AIN

7th April 2019, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE—LuLu, the largest hypermarket chain in the region, spearheaded the “Walk for Tolerance” program last 4th April at LuLu Hypermarket Kuwaitat, Al Ain, in line with the celebration of 2019 as Year of Tolerance from the declaration of H.H. Sheikha Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

The well-attended occasion witnessed the gathering of supporting groups, with the presence of H.E. Sheikh Saeed Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Emirates Society for Parents’ Care & Relief, H. E. Sheikh Salem Bin Rakkad Al Ameri, Member of Parliament at Federal National Council, Shaji V Jamaludheen, Lulu Hypermarket Regional Director Al Ain, and several dignitaries from government and private departments.

The initiative conducted, a program featuring social and cultural presentation of different nationalities. Jamaludheen shared during the occasion: “We have always believed that there’s more to being a shopping destination and it is through initiating this kind of event for raising awareness on the value of tolerance that will help unite all segments of society. It is a great privilege and honour for us to have the support of both the government representatives and our customer base in making this event possible.”
