LuLu has launched its newest Hypermarket in Al Amerat in Muscat at the newly developed ‘Nujum Al Amerat Mall. The inaugural function was held under the auspices of H.E Sheikh Dr. Yahya Suleiman Abdullah Al-Nadabi, Wali of Al Amerat in the presence Yusuff Ali MA, Chairman and Managing Director of LuLu Group, senior government officials and representatives from local business communities.
The hypermarket, which is the 24th in Oman & 167th globally is spread over an area of about 140,000 sq. feet and is designed to meet the everyday needs of the residents in Al Amerat and its neighboring areas, with added focus on their comfort and convenience. The interiors, well-planned retail floor layout, ample aisle space, extensively laid out counters and liberal parking space contribute to a relaxed world class shopping experience.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Yusuf Ali M.A., Chairman and Managing Director, LuLu Group International said, “The launch of the hypermarket in Al Amerat demonstrates our commitment to venture into new and divergent areas in Oman. Strategically located in Al Amerat Wilayat in the Muscat Governorate, the mid-sized community mall, is being developed under the “Nujum” brand by the LuLu Group. Once completely operational, it will house top brands, family entertainment centres, bowling alley, multiplex cinema, food court etc. for the whole family with a total up area of over 350,000 sq. feet.
Also present on the occasion were Saifee Rupawala, CEO, Ashraf Ali MA, Executive Director, Shabeer KA, Regional Director and other senior officials.
